Where do we depart from?

Siska departs from Port of Airlie, Airlie Beach. 



What to Bring?

Please bring only a small, zipperless soft bag with:

Change of clothes, swimwear, toiletries, beach and bath towel, insect repellent, water bottles to refill, camera, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunnies etc), and warm clothes for cooler evenings. It's also BYO alcohol (no glass bottles or red wine please).  


*This vessel does not allow zipped bags, please bring with you a soft eco-style bag often found at Coles or Woolworths. No suitcases or big backpacks.

 

    What’s included?

    Skipper and host, drinking water, all meals, linen, snorkelling equipment and stinger suits, wet weather jackets if needed, and Marine Park fees and taxes.



    What’s Extra?

    BYO alcohol (no glass or red wine). There are no drinks available for purchase on the boat.

    Any dietary requirements (such as vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free diets and dairy/lactose-free) will need to pay a surcharge of $15 per person payable on check in. Kosher and Halal diets are unable to be catered for.

    There is also a $200 surcharge for 24th of December. 



    Are there any age restrictions?

    The minimum age on Siska is 18+.



    Where can I store excess luggage?

    Because you can only bring a small, zipperless soft bag onboard, you'll need somewhere to store excess luggage. You can drop your bags at The Travel Shop (344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach) anytime between 7am and 7pm to drop your bags at our secure luggage store. 



    Where do we go snorkelling?

    The skipper will choose the snorkel spots on the day based on the current wind direction, current and tides to ensure you get the best conditions underwater. Usually, you'll snorkel towards the north end of Hook Island, which is home to many of the best reef sites in the Whitsundays! 



    Is there drinking water onboard Siska?

    Yes, there is drinking water available on board so bring a reusable water bottle with you to refill. 



    Are there hot showers?

    Yes! There are 2 hot showers on Siska. Please bring your own towels as they are not supplied on board 



    Is there any Wifi onboard?

    There is no WIFI on the boat, and phone service is limited in the Whitsundays. Take this as an opportunity to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature!



    Can I change my phone onboard?

    There is an electricity port for charging your phone in the main saloon area.



    Is there air-conditioning?

    No, there is no air-conditioning on board.



    Can I smoke or vape on Siska?

    Yes, both smoking and vaping are permitted in designated areas on the boat.



    Is there an after-party for Siska when we return to Airlie Beach?

    Yes! It takes place at Mama Africa Nightclub on Airlie Mainstreet on the evening you get back to Airlie.



    Is Siska wheelchair-friendly?

    Unfortunately, Siska does not have wheelchair accessibility as it is a maxi yacht that requires a bit of mobility to get in and move around. 



    Is there parking at the departure point?

    There is a carpark at the Port of Airlie which is subject to a daily rate.
